Recent contributions to the literature:
Dr. MacDougall has a special interest in functional neurosurgery. During residency he performed a post doctoral fellowship with Dr. Corey Miller to pioneer some of the first use of optogenetics in marmosets. Dr. MacDougall has commited to a fellowship in functional neurosurgery with Dr. Jaime Henderson at Stanford University following his chief residency in the 2015-2016 year at UC San Diego.
